Help put GetUp!'s Timor's oil ad on TV

Timor Sea Justice Campaign Call to Action - November 11, 2014

Online campaign group GetUp! have produced a television commercial about Australia short-changing East Timor out of billions of dollars in oil and gas revenue and need your help to get it on air this weekend during the G20 summit.

With Australia finally back at the negotiating table now is the time to put pressure on the Government to ensure East Timor isn't ripped off again. So, while world leaders are in town this weekend for the G20 meeting, GetUp! have created an ad that breaks down the international complexities into a story anyone can grasp and hopes to shame our leaders on the world stage into doing the right thing by one of our closest neighbours.

GetUp! have managed to secure some last-minute national spots on Sky News, which will have screens up inside the G20 conference this weekend – but they need to lock them in now. So if you can chip in click here. (Also help spread the word and share the ad on social media.)

Timor Sea Justice Campaign

The Timor Sea Justice Campaign is a grassroots community campaign calling on the Australian Government to establish fair and permanent maritime boundaries with East Timor in accordance with current international law. Get involved! Come along to our next campaign meetings in Sydney (20 Nov) and Melbourne (27 Nov)
